Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lacquer

swatches lipglossHello everyone, today I am going to be reviewing the Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lacquer. So I have been looking for some liquid lipsticks for quite a while and when I saw these in the shop I just had to buy them. When I saw the cute packaging I just couldn’t stop myself from purchasing some. I bought three colours. Velvet black heart, velvet rebel, keep flying for you. When you first apply these to your lips it feels like a normal lip gloss with lots of pigment. I also found that the darkest colour that I bought (velvet black heart) dries the quickest.

Although all the colours do dry quickly. They also have super staying power when you drink and it doesn’t come off on the glass. However, they do come off easily which was quite disappointing because I wore velvet black heart on Halloween and after about 20 minutes themakeup revolution colour had come off and I was left with a black outline on my lips. The colours are also very pigmented making the colour very strong so you can definitely see the colour. I would also say that if you don’t like lip products with lots of pigment in then these are definitely not for you. Even ‘keep flying for you’ is very bright even though it is a coral peach nude kind of colour. In my opinion I would give these 7/10 because although they don’t come off when you drink they come off when you talk and are not exactly doing anything. They also have great colours which are full of pigment and are noticeable. I would recommend these because they definitely do their job and I really like them and do want to get the whole collection.

Thank you for reading this blog post.
